Position: Sales Support Location: Geneva, Switzerland Type: Full-time (100%) About Us: At Wilhelmsen Port Services, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional agency services at ports worldwide. Our team is dedicated to ensuring smooth and efficient port calls, and we are looking for a dynamic Sales Support professional to join our Geneva office. Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of the Bill of Lading (BL) service with clients and related parties.
  • Support and drive the collection of receivables for contractual port calls related to customers in your portfolio, as well as for BL and other services provided.
  • Gather and develop market intelligence for the Swiss region, actively following through with business inquiries (cold calls, emails, networking, etc.).
  • Assist in client prospecting to identify and secure new business opportunities.
Accountabilities – KPIs:
  • Convert market intelligence into potential opportunities.
  • Achieve minimum sales calls, including face-to-face meetings.
  • Maintain and grow the opportunity pipeline in terms of USD value and conversion rate.
  • Ensure accurate and updated information is recorded in the CRM system.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree (or relevant experience in lieu).
  • Prior experience in Ships Agency sales and/or operations is preferred.
  • Knowledge of commodities, including trade patterns, key players, customer needs, and purchase drivers.
  • Experience in selling and negotiating with customers.
  • Strong communication skills with a good command of English (verbal and written).
  • Ability to work independently, planning and organizing your work effectively.
  • Ambitious with a strong desire for success and a commercial mindset.
  • Able to meet deadlines through good time management and prioritization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and other IT tools.
