Are you a passionate Communications professional who wants to further build your career with the global leader in the creation of Taste & Wellbeing and Fragrance & Beauty? Do you want to become an important member of our Group Communications team and focus on exciting projects while being based in our Vernier office in Switzerland? - Then this could be your future position!
We are looking for a ‘Communication Manager’ to support the Corporate Communications integrated reporting team and ensure the smooth functioning of the reporting process and excellent stakeholder communications. You will maintain the quality and effectiveness of our reporting efforts by assisting in project coordination and content management.
You will support change tracking, best practice research, project documentation, hands-on project management, and content development assistance. While your role will involve leadership support, it focuses on execution and support tasks within the reporting team.
This individual contributor role will be based in our Vernier office in Switzerland and report to the Corporate Communication Manager. The role is on a fixed-term contract for 2 years - the contract could be extended later depending on our requirements, with the potential to become a permanent role with us later on.

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for -
  • Project support: Coordinating multiple projects within the integrated reporting team, supporting smooth execution and completion.
  • Content management: Collaborate with team members to maintain important information on the organisations websites and databases, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and compliance with regulatory and compliance requirements. This includes tracking and publishing finance and company manager appointments, updating the company manager list database, and assisting in publishing and updating a comprehensive list of company sites worldwide.
  • Change tracking: Monitor upcoming changes in reporting standards and regulations and support the implementation of necessary updates to reporting processes and materials.
  • Support the report completion phase: Updating text modifications, proofreading, and stakeholder management.
  • Best practice research: Research to benchmark industry best practices in reporting and regulatory frameworks and provide insights to enhance our reporting strategies.
  • Project documentation: Maintain project documentation, including schedules, meeting minutes, and action items, to facilitate efficient project management and communication.
  • Assistance in design thinking: Help apply design thinking principles to develop creative and impactful solutions for reporting challenges and opportunities. This includes creating assets from reporting content for the website and presentations to enhance communication and use content from reports.
  • Hands-on assistance: Provide hands-on project management and content development support, contributing to the teams efforts and promoting a collaborative work environment.
  • Multi-tasking support: Help manage multiple tasks and priorities within a small team environment.

You?
Your professional profile includes -
  • Available to join immediately or at short notice in the month of June 2024.
  • A bachelors degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a relevant discipline.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in corporate communications, with exposure to integrated reporting.
  • Knowledge or experience in sustainability topics will be good to have.
  • A good understanding of project management principles, with the ability to assist in coordinating projects and supporting project documentation.
  • Awareness of regulatory frameworks and reporting standards would be a plus, with a willingness to learn and support compliance efforts.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent presentation and project management skills.
  • A team player, comfortable with diversity.
