Global Assurance Manager, EMEA

VF Corporation is looking for an exceptional VF Global Assurance Manager, EMEA to join our Global Assurance team based in Stabio, Switzerland.

Let’s talk about the role!
As Global Assurance Manager, EMEA you will support the VP of Internal Audit and the International Director of Global Assurance in managing the EMEA Global Assurance team. You will plan, coordinate and deliver the audit service plan for the EMEA region as well as being a coach and reference point to ensure the growth of the audit team members based in Stabio.

We expect that you will deliver unbeatable results whilst fulfilling the following aspects of the VFGA Manager EMEA role (primary accountabilities):
Support the VP, IA and International Director in developing a high-quality risk assessment and audit service plan, delivering such plan respecting budget and time targets.
Coordinate and participate in first person in delivering Global Assurance audits and advisory projects both with reference to internal and external resources. In particular:
Confirm and complete the scope of the audit with the relevant owner
Plan, conduct, review, and report on financial and operational audits
Provide technical guidance to auditors, ensuring that objectives are met
Provide guidance, coaching, and training for direct reports and extended team
Examine and review the working papers completed by the audit teams
Design and prepare reports of findings and recommendations to management.
May support divisions and subsidiaries in evaluating and recommending improvements to business practices, processes and control procedures.
VFGA performances and guarantee a holistic experience for the EMEA and Global team.

Skills for Success
To succeed you must have a strong audit and advisory technical knowledge, a proactive attitude and being ready to change.

Solid experience working in internal controls, auditing, and/or accounting and financial reporting.
Knowledge of the IIA framework, standards, best practices and a proven knowledge of COSO related internal control concepts and conventions.
Experience with Data Analytics, Smartsheet and Power BI are a plus.
Strong project management and facilitation skills to manage all activity relating to ongoing compliance and simultaneous projects of a complex nature.
Proven experience in managing teams inspiring a growth mindset
Must work with precision and flexibility in handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
