We are seeking an experienced Non-Financial Risk Expert to join our Non-Financial Risk Control team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, assessing and reporting non-financial risks across the organization. This includes assessing risk mitigating actions, developing and maintaining the Group Risk Report, conducting non-financial risk assessments, and providing expert advice to senior management.

YOUR CHALLENGE

Group Risk Report:

• Further enhance and maintain the Group Risk Report, ensuring it accurately reflects the Groups financial and non-financial risk profile

• Identify and assess key risks, including financial risks, non-financial risks, strategic and reputational risks

Non-Financial Risk Assessments:

• Conduct regular non-financial risk assessments across the Group, including business units, functions, and legal entities

• Identify and evaluate possible non-financial risks, including their potential impact

• Conduct workshops with senior management to compile the Groups risk profile regarding reputational, strategic, financial and non-financial risks

• Further develop and implement risk assessment methodologies and tools

Risk Advisory:

• Provide expert advice to senior management on non-financial risk matters, including risk mitigation strategies and control implementation

• Collaborate with business units and functions to integrate non-financial risk considerations into decision-making processes

Risk Governance:

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to non-financial risk

• Support the development and maintenance of non-financial risk policies, procedures, and standards

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Engage with internal stakeholders, including business units, functions, and senior management, to promote awareness and understanding of non-financial risks

• Communicate non-financial risk information to external stakeholders, as required

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor or Masters degree in Economics, Business Administration, Banking, Finance

• Minimum 5 years of experience in non-financial risk management, preferably in a large corporation, financial industry or audit/ consulting firm

• Proven expertise in reporting and non-financial risk assessment, risk mitigation, and implementation of controls

• Exceptional problem solving and communication skills

• Strong analytical skills and structured workstyle

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and applying a hands-on approach

• Team player with ability to co-operate with other team members on other tasks

• Excellent knowledge in Excel and PowerPoint

• Proficiency in English and German (oral and written) is a must, other languages would be a plus
