Result of Service The ultimate result of the services is towards the development of a project plan to scale up existing agriculture insurance and assessing the potential for aquaculture insurance for the borrowers of AMK, Cambodia, a V20 country, in line with the mandate of UNEP PSI V20 SIF to develop a pipeline of climate smart insurance solutions for MSMEs in the V20 Market. This is in line with the PSI’s purpose to better understand, prevent and reduce environmental, social and governance risks, and better manage opportunities to provide quality and reliable risk protection; and the PSI’s vision of a risk aware world, where the insurance industry is trusted and plays its full role in enabling a healthy, safe, resilient and sustainable society. The project plan so developed will define the timelines and the resource requirements both financial and in terms of technical capacities and human resources. The consultant will also identify the capacity building requirements of AMK, Cambodia and its insurance partner, Forte Insurance, Cambodia towards the implementation of climate smart insurance solutions. The outcomes of the services will be to strengthen the UNEP FI’ V20 SIF’s implementation of its mandate to support the development of climate smart insurance projects for MSMEs and agribusinesses in a V20 market i.e. Cambodia.
