RMG The Risk Management Group (Schweiz) SA ("RMG") is a Geneva based financial Unternehmen founded in 2004 advising a limited number of Swiss and international clients on wealth management, private equity and real estate investments.

RMG has recognized expertise in sourcing and developing exceptional Swiss and international real estate projects, which it structures and supervises as an investor, developer, and manager.

As part of its direct investment activity in real estate RMG is seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join its team as Real Estate Project Manager for a confidential project in Gstaad, Canton of Bern.

Role:

As a Project Manager you will be responsible for overseeing an ambitious mixed use project development in Schweiz including hospitality, serviced apartments and retail stores, and representing the owner in dealings with local authorities and selected contractors, as well as helping our teams analyze potential investments.

• Coordinate all development phases of the project.
• Ensure the selection of key contractors through rigorous tender processes and contract negotiations and manage as the owner representative.
• Develop and manage development/value add budget and monitor spendings.
• Oversee and efficiently coordinate all third parties involved.
• Prepare application files and liaise with local authorities for the obtention of the required building permits and all other authorizations required.
• Provide regular updates and reports on the progress of development/value add works.
• Identify key risks and propose mitigating actions.
• Ensure that the quality of construction and enhancement works meets established standards, deadlines, and client expectations.
• Oversee the technical due diligence on acquisitions and development/value add projects.

Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in Swiss real estate development and project management.
• Technical knowledge of construction processes and building systems, town planning.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Willingness and flexibility for day trips within Schweiz.
• Analytical profile, critical mind, ability to synthesize.
• French and Swiss-German required, English would be a significant plus.
