Your role and responsibilities

We are looking an experienced Buyer to join our dynamic team. This role involves the strategic sourcing and purchasing of materials based on detailed technical specifications, while maintaining strict adherence to corporate purchasing policies and procedures. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient procurement processes and maintaining strong supplier relationships. The work model for the role is: #LI-remote Potential hiring locations: Europe You will be mainly accountable for : • Identify and qualify new suppliers by working collaboratively with category teams and Quality/Engineering specialists • Handle supplier negotiations, including agreements on pricing, terms, and conditions • Analyze and evaluate bids to determine the best value while supporting relevant teams with market information • Monitor supplier performance metrics (delivery, quality, lead time) and manage issue resolution • Ensure supplier orders align with customer requirements in terms of content, quality, delivery, sustainability, and price

Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field with 5+ years of procurement experience
  • Proven experience with SAP Ariba platform and other ERP systems
  • Strong negotiation skills and demonstrated success in supplier relationship management
  • Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in data analysis and cost modeling
  • Clear communication skills with experience in cross-functional team collaboration
