Duties and ResponsibilitiesIn this role, I will behave in a professional manner and set an example to all. I will abide by Six Senses principles, core values, best practices, guidelines and objectives, while respecting other cultures and nationalities and projecting a positive and proactive Position to help build and maintain a strong, loyal team.
My duties and responsibilities will include:
· Monitor daily washing, drying, ironing, collecting, and delivery service according to the resort policy in coordination with the Laundry Supervisor.
· Collect required stock supplies for shift.
· Dust and cleans all lampshades, ceiling, ceiling fans, exhaust fans, all the machines walls, in Laundry on daily basis.
· Ensure all supplies and cleaning equipment are in good working condition and stored in proper Standorts.
· Ensure that guest requests for additional linen are delivered promptly.
· Return lost and found items to the Laundry Supervisor and complete required forms.
· Report equipment failure, damage to furnishings or missing items to Laundry Supervisor.
· Handle guest requests and immediately refer issues and feedback to Laundry Supervisor.
· Provide assistance to guests in all resort emergency evacuation and medical procedures.
· Maintain a high standard of hygiene and sanitation throughout all areas in the laundry.
· Report any health or safety hazards to Laundry Supervisor.
· Behave in an ecology friendly manner, help to reduce the amount of energy and cleaning supplies
· Watch for defects and is responsible for the immaculate appearance of laundered items.
· Maintain a high standard of personal appearance, grooming and hygiene.
· Knowledge of all safety, security and emergency procedures related to my Position in line with brand and statutory requirements.
· Ensure the privacy of guests, partners and residential owners, I will apply an extra level of protection to any sensitive personal data and use confidential information only to perform my job.
· Ensure all equipment of the department is kept clean and in good working condition.
· Upsell all resort facilities and activities.
· Attend meetings and training as required.
· Knowledge and strict adherence to LQA standards.
· Perform any additional tasks given to me by supervisor/managemen
QualificationsTo execute the Position of Laundry Attendant, I have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar or greater role in luxury hotels with proven results. I possess more than one year's experience in a similar hotel operational role.
I have good understanding of scheduling work, and knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals and surfaces.
I have a basic of English and some knowledge of the local language and customs.
