Intern Functional Test Analyst

Intern Functional Test Analyst at ServiZurich – an integral part of Zurich Insurance Group – will support the AI Test Accelerator project by reviewing and analyzing product backlogs, developing test cases, and executing tests to ensure product quality. The role is an at‑least 6‑month part‑time internship (up to 30 hrs/week) located in Via Augusta, Barcelona.

Responsibilities

Collaborate in the AI Test Accelerator project.
Work alongside experts in various technological domains.
Enhance your skills with real‑world experience.
Contribute to a team that values your input and creativity.
Review and analyze product backlogs and collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and other testers to define and understand acceptance criteria.
Develop test cases and test scenarios (manual or automated) based on system requirements, run peer‑reviews, and script the test cases where possible.
Execute test cases according to the agreed testing plan and priorities, log and retest defects.
Assist with root‑cause analysis and troubleshooting of defects with developers.
Progress toward a Junior Test Analyst role within the organization.

Qualifications

Active student status with a Spanish university or school (mandatory).
Interest in the insurtech world.
Availability for at least a 6‑month part‑time internship program.
Enthusiastic, capable, and eager to learn.
Good team player with a responsible, can‑do attitude.
