Job Description

The Spa Therapist will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive range of spa and wellness treatments, ensuring the highest level of service, hygiene and professionalism. The role requires a proactive individual with strong client-care skills, strict adherence to spa protocols and the ability to support both in-house and external spa activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide variety of spa treatments including massages (Swedish, Deep Tissue, Aromatherapy, Hot Stone, Scalp, Foot, Hand) facials, body scrubs, body wraps, waxing, manicures, pedicures, steam therapy and sauna preparation.

• Conduct detailed client consultations and assessments to recommend appropriate treatments and provide aftercare advice.

• Maintain professional grooming and hygiene standards in line with company policy.

• Prepare and sanitize treatment rooms, equipment, bedding, towels and consumables before and after each client session.

• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation and spa hygiene protocols at all times.

• Maintain accurate treatment records, client histories, and service logs.

• Monitor inventory, report low stock and support restocking of treatment products and supplies.

• Assist in the planning and execution of spa-related events, wellness retreats, corporate bookings and private home sessions.

• Work collaboratively with team members to maintain a serene, respectful and productive spa environment.

• Support and participate in staff training, mentorship, workshops and continuous professional development programs.

• Stay updated on new techniques, wellness trends and innovative products to enhance service delivery.

• Uphold strict confidentiality, customer care and professional ethics, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.

• Adhere to all DEW Centre operational policies and guidelines, including grooming, attendance and conduct standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of 1–2 years’ proven experience as a Spa Therapist (hospitality/wellness industry preferred).

• Recognized certification in massage therapy, beauty therapy or spa therapy (mandatory advantage).

• Strong working knowledge of spa treatments, techniques, anatomy and wellness practices.

• Ability to perform multiple treatment types efficiently, with precision and professionalism.

• Familiarity with spa equipment (facial steamers, hot towels, massage tools, etc.).

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and client-handling skills.

• Strong integrity, discipline and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality with client information.

• High personal grooming and hygiene standards: neat hair, clean nails and professional appearance.

• Physically fit, with the stamina to perform massages and other treatments for extended periods.

• Ability to adapt quickly to different client needs and work environments (in-house, retreats, events, and off-site sessions).

• Knowledge of wellness education and the ability to provide clients with aftercare guidance.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple appointments and responsibilities.

• Team player with a calm, respectful and client-focused demeanor.

• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends and special assignments as required.
