Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Upholsterer located in Lagos State, Nigeria, with some work from home being acceptable. The Upholsterer will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and sewing fabric for upholstering furniture. Day-to-day tasks include repairing and replacing upholstery on chairs, sofas, and other furniture items, as well as working with tools and materials like foam, fabric, and leather. The role also involves fabric and material selection, pattern making, and ensuring high-quality craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• Experience in measuring, cutting, and sewing fabric for furniture upholstery
• Skills in repairing and replacing upholstery on a variety of furniture items
• Familiarity with tools and materials such as foam, fabric, and leather
• Proficiency in pattern making and fabric/material selection
• Attention to detail and high-quality craftsmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in a similar role is a plus
